DicTyper's primary speech recognition and storage run on the Windows PC. The current product rules prohibit uploading dictated audio, dictated text, local history, personal vocabulary or settings as part of the dictation workflow.

Text inserted into another application is then subject to that application's behavior and privacy terms.

Account, payment and licensing connections are separate from dictation processing. They identify purchase and access state; they do not receive the content of your dictations.

A browser return or payment redirect does not by itself grant a licence or change entitlement.

Dictation history, raw text, dictionary entries and available settings are local data that must be explained and manageable on the device.

Local application data inherits the Windows user profile's storage permissions. Those permissions are not described as strong encryption.

The documented product boundary permits local, disableable diagnostics without dictation content. It prohibits automatic remote collection of:

• dictated audio or text;
• clipboard content, window titles or file paths;
• application lists, contacts, advertising identifiers or device fingerprinting.

Any future remote telemetry requires separate opt-in, payload review and an approved architecture decision.

Importing data from another product must be an explicit, informed and reversible action. It must not run as a hidden automatic probe at startup.

Exports must use a destination chosen by the user and include an appropriate warning about the exported content.
